I am a third-year graduate student majoring in the Biomedical Engineering at Dalian University of Technology’s Faculty of Medicine. I’m working on medical imaging AI (computational pathology) under the supervision of Associate Professor Hongming Xu. Before coming to Dalian University of Technology, I studied Electronic Information Engineering at the School of Information Science and Engineering, Yanshan University. Currently, I am focused on deep learning and computer vision, particularly in Multi-modal data analysis (e.g., image, gene), Generative AI (e.g., GANs), and Weakly supervised learning. Additionally, I am also interested in Diffusion models and Rubost AI (domain adaptation technich), etc.
My Chinese given name is 桐 (Tong), pronounced as 桐/tʊŋ/. My Chinese surname is 王 (Wang), pronounced as 王/wɑːŋ/. It’s also fine to call me Tom.
I will be joining the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for Biomedical Engineering in Fall 2025 under the supervision of Dr. Li Wang. My research focuses on MRI image super-resolution. If you are interested in collaboration, please feel free to contact me!
